Words of Inspiration and Motivation - Week 7

According to the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct and Statement of Commitment "To share resources with  co workers,  collaborating  to ensure that the best possible early childhood care and  education program is provided." This statement is significant to my professional life because in order to provide the youth in my care with the most opportunities available to them I must collaborate with my colleagues. There have been many times I was not aware that something was occurring for the youth in my care. I depend on my colleagues to share information with me. In addition, I share information with them. There is always something new and exciting that could be potential used to provide better care and education to our program. For example, when I first began working with teens I was not aware that every October there is a College Night held at the local convention center.
